Planning a trip is exciting! But all of the logistics and details? Not so much. At My World Travel, we take the overwhelm out of travel planning by taking your vision, adding in our expertise, and mapping out a thoughtfully curated itinerary. Whether you want full support from start to finish or help booking key pieces of your adventure, our tailored planning packages are designed to meet you where you are.
FYI: We love at least 3 months to plan your trip, but 9-12 months is ideal!

Full Planning Package
This planning package hires My World Travel to fully customize your trip from start to finish. You’ll work hand-in-hand with your travel planner to build an itinerary based on your travel preferences and budget. At this level, we will be the point of contact with all vendors throughout the planning process and trip, unless requested otherwise by the client.
On all packages, all expenses are paid on the client’s individual card throughout the process, allowing you to utilize any connected insurance and benefits, and for allowing ultimate flexibility in your plans.

Booking Services – Full planning includes modifications as needed
- Flight research and booking

- Restaurant reservations, as requested

- Phone and email consultations throughout the planning process
- Personalized “Must Do” recommendations based on your preferences

- Simple budget tracking throughout the planning process
- Point of contact with all vendors (unless you prefer otherwise)
- Support during your trip as needed (during reasonable hours – we do sleep! Our goal is to provide you all tools needed should you need local assistance.)
- Management of booking changes within reason, both before and during travel

Partial Planning Package
This package is the perfect launchpad for your adventure, locking in the big pieces before you leave. Our Partial Planning gives you a solid foundation with flights, hotels, must-see experiences, while leaving you the flexibility to explore on your own terms.
On all packages, all expenses are paid on the client’s individual card throughout the process, allowing you to utilize any connected insurance and benefits, and for allowing ultimate flexibility in your plans.
What’s Included
Trip Design & Coordination of your Core Travel Arrangements
- Flight research and booking for your round trip book-end flights – other flights within your itinerary are your responsibility
- Hotel selection and booking (up to 10 total recommendations)
- Tour and activity booking (up to 10 bookings)
- Daily outline showing the above bookings including confirmation numbers, addresses, contact information, payment schedules, and vendor details for everything you booked
Expert Guidance
- Phone and email consultations throughout the planning process
- Personalized “Must Do” recommendations based on your preferences
- Pre-travel checklist so nothing gets overlooked
Peace of Mind

What You’ll Handle
For Partial Planning, you are in the driver’s seat. After we book your flights, hotels, and tours, you become the point of contact with vendors. During the planning stages, we do the heavy lifting of finding the best options, securing your reservations, and providing local insights — then, you take it from there.
- Booking transportation within your itinerary (rental car, intra-destination flights, trains, airport transfers, etc.)
- Communications with vendors after the booking stage
- Managing any changes or issues that arise during your trip
- Booking any additional tours, restaurants, or experiences beyond our initial 10 bookings
- Restaurant reservations
Note: If we make an error during booking, we’ll absolutely step in and make it right.

Trip Starters
My World Travel’s Trip Starters are curated infographics for travelers who would like an interactive launch-point for their planning, but don’t need the hand-holding of one of our Planning Packages.
At a small cost, you’ll have access to My World Travel’s destination expertise, saving you time by not having to research the personality of different neighborhoods, the best way to get from the airport to the city center, or tipping customs in each place.
Cost – $16 each
Other Planning Options
- Flight Research & Booking Only – $200 per booking
- Example #1: 4 travelers are going on the same flight = $200
- Example #2: 2 travelers are flying from different airports = $400
- Cruise Arrangements – complimentary (includes flight + transportation arrangement if booking these through the cruise line. Otherwise, a la carte charges apply.)
- All-Inclusive Resort Arrangements Only – complimentary (includes airport transfer arrangements if booking these through the hotel)
- Hourly Consulting – If our planning packages don’t fit your needs, we can offer hourly consulting at a rate of $200 per hour. You give us your main pain points and we hone in on that part of the planning. (No bookings included)

FAQ
When do I pay?
A 50% deposit of our planning fee is due at booking to secure our services and begin planning. The remaining balance is due 3 days before your departure. We can accept credit cards for a 3% extra fee, or ACH and checks.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand plans change. Deposits are non-refundable as planning begins immediately, but if you need to postpone, we’re happy to discuss applying your fee to a future trip.
Do you book the flights for me?
We research the best flight options for your schedule and budget, provide recommendations, and can book them on your behalf—or provide you with all the details if you prefer to book using points or miles.
What is your booking process?

What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
Our goal is to provide you with all of the resources and local points of contact should you need assistance during your trip. And your My World Travel planner is available (during waking hours) to give guidance and assist in resolving issues (for Full Planning Packages only, unless a booking mistake was made).
Can you help with trips shorter/longer than two weeks?
Absolutely! This package covers up to two weeks, but we create custom proposals for any length of trip. Reach out and we’ll design something perfect for your timeline.
