For those of you wanting to avoid the crowds of the major attractions*, and immerse yourself in the local culture, this would be a perfect option for you (and my personal favorite way of traveling!) This type of itinerary will research the local restaurants, shopping options, off-the-grid activities, and different outlets to explore the day-by-day happenings of your destination. Perhaps you have already visited the Louvre in Paris and the Colosseum in Rome – now we can build a trip that visits the various neighborhoods, restaurants, attractions, etc., that allow you to experience an off-the-beaten-path, charming journey. Warning: this type of trip will most likely make you want to call your friends at home and tell them you just bought a small, romantic cottage somewhere in the European countryside.
*Footnote: Of course, this itinerary is perfectly complementary to a journey that includes the main attractions. You can’t go to Rome and not see the Forum and the Colosseum – they are pretty breathtaking. We’ll make it perfectly fit your experiences and interests!
